Dr Benjamin Chua

Vascular Surgery

In the field of vascular surgery, not many doctors are as accomplished as Dr Chua. He was instrumental as the Founding Head in setting up the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), the first island-wide independent clinical department dedicated to caring for patients with vascular conditions. During his tenure at SGH, Dr Chua was also instrumental in advancing new procedures in aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty and stenting for peripheral arterial disease, and varicose vein surgery.

While at SGH, Dr Chua also served as the Director of the Alexander Chao Vascular and Endovascular Surgical Skills Platform under the Division of Surgery Surgical Skills Centre. Dr Chua was also the Deputy Director of the Device Development Office, Academic Clinical Programme in Surgery under SingHealth.

Dr Caroline Low

Aesthetics, Preventive-Ageing


A general practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience, Dr Low’s area of professional expertise includes preventive and aesthetic medicine, such as laser skin treatments, preventive-ageing screenings and hormonal therapy.

Dr Low is a fellow of the American Board of Anti-Ageing and Rejuvenation Medicine since Aug 2007 and obtained her fellowship with the Australasian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine in 2010.

As a Preventive-Ageing Physician, she has made great strides in reducing the risks of disability and death from heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, cancer, senility and arthritis, essentially by modifying the metabolism of the old to that of the young, achieving rejuvenation and reversal of ageing.

Dr Evan Woo

Plastic Surgery, Aesthetics

A Plastic Surgeon accredited by the Ministry of Health, Dr Woo specialises in breast surgery and reconstruction, postnatal rejuvenation and aesthetic surgery, lymphedema surgery, and paediatric plastic surgery.

With a broad training in plastic surgery covering all aspects of reconstruction, wound and scar management, and aesthetic surgery, Dr Woo furthered his training at The Nottingham Breast Institute on a Health Manpower Development Programme scholarship, where he gained new skills in his two special interests – microsurgical breast reconstruction and oncoplastic breast surgery.

With this comprehensive training, he is currently one of a handful of surgeons in Singapore who can offer the full range of options in breast reconstruction after both breast removal or breast conservation surgery, including the use of perforator flap-free tissue transfer.

A graduate of King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry, the University of London, Dr Tan undertook his Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Training in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery. He has worked with numerous prominent specialists in King’s College Hospital, St George’s Hospital, Kent & Canterbury Hospital, University Hospital Lewisham, Princess Royal University Hospital, and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital.

As a consultant, he held many lead roles and brought about significant improvements in service development, patient care and staff training. These contributions were widely recognised and he has been awarded 3 Clinical Excellence Awards in 2010 and 2012 in the United Kingdom, and Singapore Health Quality Service Award in 2015, Singapore.
